BBC to feature more programmes from our prizewinners

Hugh Levinson, Radio 4's Commissioning Editor, was really impressed with another of the nominees for this year's Charles Parker Prize and commissioned the programme, made by UCL Student Anna de Wolff Evans, as a separate BBC Radio 4 commission. So next Friday the story of her mum's recovery from cancer told through her love of jam making will be broadcast on BBC Radio 4. New Storytellers: The sixth series of New Storytellers, featuring this year's winners of the Charles Parker Prize, will be broadcast Monday-Friday, 12-16th August 2024, 1345-1400, BBC Radio 4.

The BBC annual Radio 4 Extra programme Charles Parker Prize 2024 about the 2024 winners and nominees will be broadcast Saturday 10th August at 1000 (repeated at 1600 and Midnight)

AND to get listeners in the mood they are also repeating last year's winners in New Storytellers - Series 5 the week before Monday-Friday 5-9th August 0930-0945, Radio 4 Extra
