Dave Swarbrick obituary
Dave Swarbrick, fiddler extraordinaire, died on 3 June.
In the 1960s he was based in Birmingham while playing with the Ian Campbell Folk Group, and through that met Charles Parker.
He took part in two of the Radio Ballads: the coalmining programme The Big Hewer (1961) and The Fight Game (1963), about boxing.
