Nominees for the 2020 Charles Parker Prize announced

Owing to the current Covid-19 emergency, the full results of the Charles Parker Award 2020 cannot at this moment be published.  As last year, BBC Radio 4 will be broadcasting the five top submissions in their New Storytellers strand later in the year.  The selection of the programmes to be honoured in this way falls to Radio 4 and, understandably, has been slightly delayed, although we hope to be able to celebrate all five successful candidates very shortly.

However, the Charles Parker jury have selected our nominees and Gold Award Winner for 2020.  We are very happy, therefore, to announce today, on what would have been Charles Parker Day 2020, the seven shortlisted programmes and the overall winner of the Gold Award, Alexandra Morgan.
