Charles Parker Prize-winners to feature on Radio 4 from 10-14 August 2020

Five short documentary pieces from this year’s Charles Parker Prize-winners will be broadcast at 1:45pm each day Monday 10 to Friday 14 August on BBC Radio 4.  Each episode in the series will be available online following the broadcast.

And at 11am on Sunday 16 August on Radio 4 Extra, The Charles Parker Prize will showcase extracts from all five winners of 2020; Alex Morgan, Charlotte Hurrell, Gabriel Green, Lewis Harrrower, and Richard Queree, as well as the three runner-up finalists; Bruce Guthrie, Chantal Herbert, and James Montague.  Charles’ daughter Sara Parker, herself an award-winning radio producer, introduces the winners and finalists, as we hear their journeys producing eight award-winning features on themes ranging from dementia, sex working, Cornish identity, film projection, and homelessness; all in celebration of her father’s legacy.
