Watch the 40th Anniversary Commemorative Event

A special online event took place on Tuesday 8 December 2020 to mark the 40th anniversary of Charles Parker’s death and launch the annual student radio feature prize named in his honour – The Charles Parker Prize.

The event focused on the launch of the 2021 Charles Parker Prize for the Best Student Radio Feature and celebrated his legacy through interviews with previous prizewinners and others whose lives he changed.
